The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Public Safety, Local Police and Traffic, and in coordination with the Traffic Department has conducted a special campaign to control vehicles and school children, between 15 and 28 October.
This action was carried out by local police officers, also in collaboration with the Directorate General for Transport of the Region of Murcia, which has made available to the consistory an inspector who specializes in this field.
During the campaign, has made 20 checks on several buses in different parts of town, correcting the anomalies "with the aim of ensuring the safety of schoolchildren and children, ensuring they are accompanied on the bus by a person duly qualified using seat belts and restraint systems, which do not exceed the established maximum age of vehicles used for such carriage and a series of measures that, in case of disaster can save lives or reduce the severity of injuries that may occur, "explains Councillor for Citizen Security, Local Police and Traffic, Fortunato Arias City.
