The spokesman for the municipal group of IU + LV in Molina de Segura, Chema Moreno, today reported that the town suffers deficiency in mobility, on the occasion of the celebration of the European Mobility Week.
Moreno pointed to the existence of architectural barriers in the municipality.
"We are aware that there is progress on this, but there are still many things to solve," he added.
He also mentioned the need for more accessible buses for the disabled, so he suggested a partnership between City Hall and the concessionaire.
Highlighted the difficulties that these people are in many pedestrian crossings in the municipality, where the sidewalk is not lowered.
In terms of sustainable mobility, Moreno complained that the PP his "poor efforts" to facilitate the use of alternative transport to the car, and not to enhance and improve the use of public transport.
He also recalled the refusal of the government team earlier this year to build bike lanes that connect the various districts of the municipality.
He also assured that the PP "Molina is a city making less and less accessible to the residents whether or not disabled, which overrides the private transport on the bus."
