Ten finalists are books Setenil VI Prize for Best Book of short stories published in Spain, organized by the city of Molina de Segura, which this year has broken records with a total of 74 titles submitted by publishers and authors around the country.

Setenil Award for Best Book of short stories published in Spain, organized by the Culture Department of the City of Molina de Segura and endowed with 12,000 euros, aims to help reinforce the importance of the story as a literary genre in our country.
Have obtained in previous editions: The Blind Sunflowers, by Alberto Méndez (Anagram), recently made into a film, Life in white, Juan Pedro Aparicio (Menoscuarto) poor Relatives of the devil, Cristina Fernandez Cubas (Tusquets), Si you eat a lemon without making faces, by Sergi Pamies (Anagram), and The Mark of Crete, Óscar Esquivias (Ediciones del Viento).
The jury, chaired by writer Javier Tomeo, will issue its ruling in early November.
The award ceremony, assisted by the winner and the jury will take place in December in Molina de Segura.
