The program of events of the XXVII National Folklore Festival of Molina de Segura, held this weekend as part of the Festivities 2009, was presented at a press conference today, Tuesday, 8 September, the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations of the City molinense, Mariola Martinez Robles, the Chairman of Songs and Dances of Molina / Regional Association Salzillo Francisco, Juan de Dios Hernández Martínez, Vice President of this group, José Antonio Ortiz Pastor, and the festival's Artistic Director, José Arnaldos Antonio Salazar.
The celebration of the National Folklore Festival of Molina de Segura will be held in two sessions on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September, from 21.30 pm in the Municipal Auditorium (Park of the Company).
Your organization for the Chorus and Dance Group Molina / Salzillo Francisco Regional Association (Member of the Federation of Songs and Dances of Spain / FACYDE), in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Celebrations.
The festival will feature folk groups of the following:
Baladre Dance Group, Wall (Alicante).
Federico Lozano Songs and Dances of Salamanca.
Red Earth Songs and Dances of Almagro (Ciudad Real).
Estoraque Cultural Dance Association of Coin (Malaga).
Chorus and Dance Group Molina, Francisco Salzillo Regional Association of Molina de Segura.
On Friday 11 will be held the opening day of the Festival, at 21.30 pm in the Municipal Auditorium, and Saturday 12 at 13.15 hours, the groups will be received by the Municipal Corporation in the Plenary Hall.
The reception will be preceded by a parade parade from Plaza de la Constitution, Paseo Rosales, Park Company, until the City Council.
On Saturday there will be the closing day of the festival, also at 21.30 hours.
