Three months ago, the Socialists called for given the serious economic situation in the town hall and municipal debt "shot", were cut many unnecessary costs and dispensing with the existing consultant's contract and the Mayor of festivities to generate savings of about 100,000 €.
Instead of cutting costs, the City Council to hire a consultant becomes the Mayor by € 41,760, although in 2009 has requested a loan of EUR 14 million long-term and 10 million in credit policy.
With this new contract will be over 440,000 € I paid for these consultants, services they can provide public employees with absolute assurance and professional qualifications.
The Municipal Socialist Group calls a "big mistake" this contract as a consultant to the Mayor and asked that the nearly € 42,000 was allocated to programs to create new jobs, much needed in our city, with nearly 5,000 people unemployed (4996, April 2009) .
