The Youth Council of the City of Molina de Segura has called the XVII Secondary School Literary Contest, which is open to all students who are studying Secondary Education (ESO), Secondary School, Vocational Training, or Professional Initiation in different secondary schools in the municipality.
Reaches its eighteenth convocation as an event which has become that the contribution of schools is the foundation for success in their various calls.
The competition lays down the rules of poetry and stories.
Compositions must be submitted free theme, original and unpublished.
The extension of the stories have a minimum of three pages and a maximum of eight.
In poetry, the limit will be between forty-two and one hundred and fifty verses, divided into one or more poems, while retaining a certain formal and thematic coherence.
Each contestant may submit up to two works by each mode.
The deadline ends on March 25, 2009, and the works may be submitted to the Department of Youth, located in Building The Catch (at Calle Mayor, n º 81).
The Literary Contest XVIII includes the following prizes for two categories of poetry and stories:
Freshman (students of 1 º and 2 º ESO): 1 st prize, a set of books worth 120 euros and an mp4 player, 2 nd prize, a set of books worth 100 euros and an mp4 player, and 3 rd prize, a consignment of books worth 80 euros and a mp4 player.
Second Level (students 3 and 4 º ESO and Induction Training): 1 st prize, a set of books worth 120 euros and an mp4 player, 2 nd prize, a set of books worth 100 euros and an mp4 player and 3 º prize, a set of books worth 80 euros and a mp4 player.
Third Level (High School Students and Vocational Training): 1 st prize, a set of books worth 120 euros and an mp4 player, 2 nd prize, a set of books worth 100 euros and an mp4 player, and 3 rd prize, a consignment of books worth 80 euros and a mp4 player.
The identity of the winners will be announced before the awards ceremony to be held next May.
Before the City Council will announce the list of winners at the bulletin boards of the Youth Council in the municipal website ( www.molinadesegura.es/
youth ) and in secondary schools.
