The Youth Council of the City of Molina de Segura has made public the names of the winners of the Contest Mola Joven 2008, in the categories of Literature, Photography, Visual Arts, Comics, Short Film and Music.

This year 183 artists took part in Murcia, with a total of 210 works.

Regarding the Young Mola Literature Contest, the jury decided to award the following prizes:

Story

First prize (1,000 euros): For this woman, Miguel Francisco Hernández Pujante

Second prize (600 euros): La Frontera, in Rafael Gómez Sales

LOCAL PRIZE (600 euros): Roads on the sea, Luis Francisco Castillo Rodríguez

Poetry

First prize (1,000 euros): Foreigners to light, Rafael Gómez Sales

Second prize (600 euros): Exile of poets, Elizabeth Nicholas Tornel

LOCAL PRIZE (600 euros): There was a time that I loved, by José María Marín García

The jury of Young Mola Photography Competition, meanwhile, has awarded the following prizes:

First Prize (1,000 euros): Cleavage: Absence of Roda Cristina Franco

Second prize (600 euros): The Forge 2, José Carlos Fernández Sánchez

Best Collection (1,000 euros): Injury, crisis, offense, Roque López Moreno

Local Prize (600 euros): Al Alba, Casanova Pageo Paquita

As for the Plastic Arts Contest Young Mola, the jury awarded the following prizes:

Painting and Sculpture

First prize (1,500 euros): Between the visible and invisible, Maria Carbonell Foulquié

Second prize (600 euros): Technology, Marta Pérez Caravaca

Second prize (600 euros): Ostrich, Laperriere Gloria Gallego

LOCAL PRIZE (800 euros): Unraveling, by Natalia González García

The jury of Young Mola Comic Contest has awarded the following prizes:

First Prize (1,000 euros): Psycho in Love, by Manuel Jose Delgado Riquelme

Second prize (600 euros): The intricacies of Sofi, Asunción Fernández Rosauro

Local Prize (600 euros): Revenge, my path to defeat, Escribano Angel Merino

The Shorts Competition Jury Mola Young, meanwhile, has awarded the following prizes:

First Prize (1,800 euros): total clearance of David Macián Montesinos

Second prize (600 euros): Dolores Moreno Manuela Burlo

Local Prize (600 euros): It was na, or anything that was, Ruth Caravaca Ana Fernandez

Moreover, last September, coinciding with the festivity of the town, was held on Young Mola Music Competition, whose winners were:

FIRST PRIZE (recording and editing of a CD): Top Manta Experimental Orchestra

Second prize (600 euros): No Property

Second prize (600 euros): Mental Grillo

The awards ceremony of the six competitions will be held on Tuesday 25 November at 20.30 pm in the Municipal Exhibition Hall Jail (in Calle Cervantes, n º 5).

The exhibition of selected works will be held: photographic works will be exhibited at University Café (Calle de Molina de Segura Station) November 24 to December 8, the works of Art in Room City Jail, 17 28th November, and comic works in the Exhibition Hall of the Library Salvador García Aguilar, from 24 November to 5 December.

Finally, the projected winners and selected shorts will be held on Thursday 27 November at 20.30 in Cines La Dehesa (Leisure Mall and Plaza Vega Molina de Segura), with an invitation to fill seats.
