The Department of Effective Equality of Women and Men of the City of Molina de Segura, in the development of the Third Plan for Equal Opportunities has launched a series of activities to commemorate the November 25 International Day Against Violence Against Women:

5 to 12: Exhibition THEM
Objective: To present the artistic production of women and seek a vision of their new roles in society to advance equality of opportunity.
Venue: Municipal Jail
Hours: Monday through Friday.
Mornings, 12 to 14 h, and evenings, 17 to 21 h.
Thursday 13 at 19.00 am: PRESENTATION OF COMIC V GENDER
Objective: To promote and support youth artistic production of Molina de Segura to incorporate content related to gender violence.
This comic will be used as a tool in the cycle of lectures on gender violence, which are taught in secondary schools of the town.
From 17 to 30: AWARENESS CAMPAIGN AGAINST GENDER VIOLENCE.
Objective: To sensitize the population of Molina de Segura on the issue of gender violence.
Target population: Population molinense in general, public institutions and businesses in Molina de Segura.
Saturday 22: 10.00 h.
Football championship goal to stir violence
10.00 h. Encesta Basketball Championship for Equality
Objective: To encourage more participation of youth in the activities of revulsion against violence towards women.
Venue: Polideportivo El Romeral (at Avenida de Valencia).
In collaboration with the Sports Department.
Sunday 23, at 10.00: START II PARTNERSHIP AGAINST VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
Objective: To unite the people of Molina de Segura in an act of revulsion against violence towards women.
Location: Exit from the door of City Hall.
Target population: molinense population in general.
Tuesday 25 at 19.00 pm: FILM / FORUM Yo soy la Juani, by Bigas Luna
Objective: To promote cultural change model and the breaking of gender stereotypes.
Synopsis: Juani has problems at home and discuss with her boyfriend.
Have been together fifteen years and their jealousy and indecision are unbearable.
Juani explodes and decides to do what he has not done.
Juani because he wants to be an actress.
Presents: Manuel Nicolas Meseguer, MA in History and Aesthetics of Cinema from the University of Valladolid.

Objective: To involve youth in the fight against violence towards women.

Objective: To promote cultural change model and the breaking of gender stereotypes.
Synopsis: Ana is a free spirit who turns her passion for life in the paint.
Justine, a cosmopolitan patron, invites you to complete their training in Madrid with the group of artists who protects.
It will be the beginning of a journey not only physical, that will take you to discover new continents, past lives and ancient myths.
Ana attempt to break the chain of ancestral violence looming on painting doors, and at the end of the adventure will choose if it becomes a monster or a princess.
