The writer Espido Freire offers a conference entitled Changing Times: profitable arts culture on Friday 26 September at 20.00 pm in the Library Salvador García Aguilar Molina de Segura (at Avenida del Chorrico, No. 44), within the program of events for the Regional Book Fair of Murcia, in a coordinated effort by journalist and writer Lola Grace.
The daughter of immigrants from Galicia, Espido Freire was born in Bilbao in 1974.
He devoted himself to singing since childhood and until quite late in his teens, when he also wrote his first literary texts.
After a first year law school decided to make a big change, investing in the literature, and abandoned his profession as a lyric soprano and studies had begun, was then initiated and graduated in English from the University of Deusto center in which he participated actively in the cultural field, and it also sent a Diploma in Editing and publishing.
In 1998 he published his first novel, Ireland, and half year and published the following two, where is always in October and Peaches Cream, which won the Metro.
Has cultivated much of the literary genres and his work is extensive.
It has already published six novels, the seventh, Soria Moria, has been awarded the University of Seville.
Also works with various media, newspapers, magazines, radio and television, from the beginning of his career as a writer.

Actively involved in writing workshops during his college years, and interested in the teaching of creation later, has taught creative writing in Spanish and international universities.

Espido also addresses social issues in his nonfiction as First love, When eating a hell or mileuristas: body, soul and mind of the generation of 1000 euros.
