The Governing Council authorized the execution of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Water and the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDEA), install solar cooling and energy supply in the building of the Integrated Center for Training and Agricultural Experiences (CIFE), Molina de Segura.
The purpose of this agreement is the implementation and operation of that facility for the use of solar thermal energy by heating and cooling the building or part thereof and where the hot water production and exploitation the same commercial.
The facility will consist of solar collector systems, accumulation, dissipation, control and absorption equipment, among others.
The budget of the work amounts to 32,725 euros.
The building housing the CIFE of Molina de Segura brings unique characteristics to the dissemination and demonstration of solar thermal power plant for cooling, heating and hot water, because of the many activities that take place in Central and number of farmers and ranchers who visit to perform various activities.
The Ministry is interested in improving both environmental and technical, promotional picture and that the project may entail.
For its part, the IDEA is interested in what it is for demonstration and dissemination of this technology helping to improve its goals of promoting renewable energy, coinciding both in the joint development opportunity.
