Lorca Raúl Martínez, a student of Secondary School Cañada de las Eras de Molina de Segura, has won the international competition for young Latinas CICERO (Contest In Ominum Regionum Concordiam Europae), in the form of translation.
On April 18 the test took place at the IES Cañada de las Eras.
This is the second European call and the first in which Spain participates, and it has in Murcia.
Could participate in the contest sophomores in high school who may be pursuing Latin, either in the field of humanities or social sciences.
The competition consisted of two parts, a text of Cicero to translate and a battery of questions about the mythological figure of Hercules and his legacy to this day in many different areas (theater, painting, aircraft, etc.)..
In the translation student has won the Molina de Segura, and questions a student of IES mythological Infante Juan Manuel, Alejandra Moya Campos.
The awards ceremony will take place Friday May 9 IES Infante Juan Manuel.
