The inauguration of the Auditorium Virginia Martinez Fernandez de Molina de Segura, will take place on Thursday 28 January at 20.00 pm in the Museum of the Wall Enclave (MUDEM).

Work on the auditorium part of the final phase of the Museum of the Wall Enclave (MUDEM), which involves an investment of 2,179,741.53 euros, and have been executed by Ferrovial Agroman SA, within 12 months.
The work consisted of:
• Completing the development of the square, creating a dam to prevent flooding of the museum.
• Conditioning the environment of the wall.
• Creating a new emergency exit door on Calle Ibn Arabi.
• Completion of the exterior facades of the museum modules.
• Completion of the indoor facilities of the museum: electricity, fire protection system, HVAC, telecommunications, etc.
• Completion of the building finishing work: paintings, woodwork, ceilings, lighting, flooring, tiles, etc.
• Completion of work in the Auditorium: scenario, flooring, wall coverings and ceilings, lighting, sound, furniture, etc.
• Completion of museological facilities: interactive panels, information panels, multimedia, etc.
The total area of ​​the facilities MUDEM is 5,000 m2, of which approximately 500 m2 for the auditorium, which has a capacity of 240 seats.
VIRGINIA Martinez Fernandez (Molina de Segura, 1979)
He began his musical studies at the age of six years in the Municipal Academy of Molina de Segura.
At eight starts piano studies with Pilar Valero and Pedro Valero, among others, at thirteen, took over the leadership of the Municipal Children's Chorus of Molina de Segura, work continued until 1999.
In those years he made several courses conducting with Manuel Hernández-Silva and Igor Dronov.
In 1999 he graduated from the Conservatory of Music of Murcia and is subsequently awarded a scholarship by the Seneca Foundation to expand their studies abroad.
From the time he moved to Vienna to study the career of Conducting at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna, having as teachers ReinhardSchwarz and Georg Mark.
These studies ends in June 2003, with the direction of the Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna interpreting The Firebird by Igor Stravinsky, and obtaining the qualification of honors with distinction.
In 2000 he joined the Vienna Singverein Chor, with which he has given numerous concerts throughout Austria and Europe.
In 2002 releases the work Winterlandschaft (Winter landscape), the composer Stefan Höll, and makes its official launch in the region of Murcia in front of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia in the Auditorium and Congress Center Victor Villegas, concert It was broadcast on RNE-2.
In January 2004 he was named Youth of the Year by the Ministry of Youth in the Region of Murcia and also named assistant Bertrand de Billy at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, ​​for mounting two Wagnerian titles: Siegfried and The Twilight of the Gods.
In the 2005/6 season is Assistant Director of the Symphony Orchestra of Barcelona and Catalonia National, work that arranges with the artistic direction of the orchestra of the Catalonia College of Music (ESMUC).
In the 2006/7 season is Assistant Orchestra of Valencia next to YaronTraub.
He has managed very successfully to Orchestras Pablo Sarasate Orchestra of Valencia, Symphony Valles Orchestra Iberian Orchestra Barcelona 216, Orquesta Ciudad de Barcelona and Catalonia National Symphony of Asturias, Orquesta de Granada, Cordoba Orchestra, Wiener Chamber Orchestra and National Orchestra of Santo Domingo, where he worked with Philippe Entremont.
In April 2009 he was named one of European recognition granted by the European Committee of the Regions and Universal Murcia chosen by the Regional Federation of Employers of Hospitality and Tourism (Hostemur) young talents.
He has been chief conductor of the Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia and, since 2012, is owner and artistic director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia.
