The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, attends the Annual General Assembly of the Spanish Network of Intelligent Cities (RECI) as a full partner city.

At that meeting, held in Barcelona on 17 and 18 November, it has realized the actions taken by the RECI and upcoming activities to be performed, as the Second Congress of Smart Cities, to be held in Madrid in April 2016. Also, also discussed the main actions taken by the various working groups.

Molina de Segura actively participates in Group I - Social Innovation.

The assembly of the RECI has taken place within the Smart City World Congress, a world of technology and presentations with experiences and innovations in cities around the world.

As a member of RECI, Mayor of Molina de Segura jury participated in the event Startup4cities, entrepreneurial company where I will participate will be rewarded.

The Spanish Network of Intelligent Cities (www.redciudadesinteligentes.es) was incorporated in June 2012 with the aim of exchanging experiences and work together to develop a model of sustainable management and improve the quality of life of citizens, focusing on aspects such as energy saving, sustainable mobility, eGovernment, attention to people or security.
