The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, announced, on Friday 6 November, the new director of the Teatro Villa de Molina will be Jose Antonio Moreno Aviles.
The relief in the direction of this cultural center is due to the recent retirement of the former director, Jose Antonio Garcia Molina.
Jose Antonio Aviles graduated in Philology, university expert in quality management and university expert in human resource management.
He has extensive theater training in various fields: theater specialist teacher for secondary students, dramaturgy, theatrical action, Contemporary Theatre (I), Contemporary (II) Theatre and Cultural Management.
Founder of several theater groups and companies, Aviles has directed more than thirty works, and was theater critic of The Truth and Line in the eighties, and organizer of the Festival of Theatre de Molina de Segura (eighties).
He has also been a member of the Advisory Board of Teatro Municipal Institute of Culture and Celebration of Molina (eighties) and member of the Advisory Council Theatre Autonomous Region of Murcia (nineties).
The Mayor highlighted "the great human and professional value of Jose Antonio Aviles, an official of the City Council, which will guarantee to lead the largest cultural project in our town, such as the Villa de Molina Theatre, which this month celebrates its tenth anniversary" .
Finally, Eduardo Contreras thanked the "magnificent and successful management carried out at the Theatre, during its first ten years of life, until a few weeks ago the director, Jose Antonio Garcia Molina".
