The Municipal Socialist Group in the city of Molina de Segura has presented for debate in Parliament a motion for the creation of a special commission of inquiry to examine all operations, contracts and agreements SERCOMOSA to debug potential liabilities that have caused the company is in a situation that will lead to preconcurso creditors.
According to the Socialist spokesperson, Esther Clavero, "the critical situation facing the municipal water and sanitation, SERCOMOSA, is a consequence of the original agreements signed at the entrance of the capitalist partner Acciona (formerly Ondagua) and the City of Molina de Segura, and subsequent inactivity SERCOMOSA and the City Council did not report some "illegal and non-existent" conditions, as soon as I became aware, and have been a clear financial loss to the company SERCOMOSA and therefore the residents of Molina de Segura which must withstand high water rates and wastewater on their bills. "
Following the arbitration award which requires the payment of € 11,000,000 (eleven million) to the company Acciona, the Socialist Group considers essential the creation of a commission of inquiry involving all local political groups to "shed light" on a management that has led to an unsustainable financial situation, a company that provides an essential service to the city and directly employs 365 workers.
A commission, which serve to clarify and establish responsibilities and to find, together, a way out of the serious financial and economic situation in the company.
