The City of Molina de Segura, through the departments of Welfare and Sport, organized every year Adapted Multisport Program, which this year celebrates its tenth edition, led the group of people with disabilities aged 5 to 25 years with a capacity of 50 students.
It takes place during the month of July, Monday to Friday, 08.30 hours to 14.30 hours in Hall of IES Francisco de Goya and the Municipal Polideportivo El Romeral.
The program aims to promote physical activity health and social integration through sports, as part of their personal development.
The program's objectives are: to know the most important characteristics displayed by people with disabilities and the possibilities offered by the sports media in the acquisition of socio-affective motor, cognitive skills, and interaction.
Adapted Multisport is complemented by leisure activities and training: visit to Fire Station, Driver Education course, visit Radio Company and sightseeing in the old part of town.
The sports program is taught by specialists in physical education and sports instructors, coordinated by technical personnel of the Department of Social Welfare.
