Three people detained on suspicion of a crime against public health
Agents of the National Police and the Local Police Molina de Segura have involved more than 11,000 marijuana plants were in greenhouses of vegetable gardens and orchards.
In the operation they were arrested three people suspected of a crime against public health.
Those arrested were planting marijuana in a greenhouse large installed on a large tract of land located in the Murcian town of Molina de Segura.
The drug involved weighs about three tons.
As part of the "Path" operation to prevent theft of fruit
The National Police every year active operation called "Path" in Molina de Segura, in order to prevent and if fruit pursue theft and property crimes in houses isolated garden.
In this operation, last week, early in the morning, a patrol of officers of the Local Police Molina de Segura noted strange movements on one of the farms which in previous years had involved small amounts of marijuana.
About three tons of marijuana
After taking over the investigation agents of the Judicial Police of the National Police, it was launched an interventional device in which we proceeded to the registration of the farm.
Inside the property were found about 10,000 marijuana plants planted 6000 of them in various stages of growth and new cortadas- rest in one of the greenhouses holding,.
In a nearby store, drying mode enabled, 1,000 other plants of the same drug substance were seized.
Given the scale of the plantation, about 2,875 kilos, they took four freight truck for transport.
At the time of operation they were arrested three people inside the greenhouse: three men of Spanish nationality of 25, 29 and 30, suspected of a crime against public health.
Agents also involved a tractor, precision binoculars, a pair of walkie-talkies and twenty sacks of fertilizer.
The operation was conducted by agents of the National Police Station of Molina de Segura, under the Police Headquarters of Murcia and the local police in the same town.
