The City of Molina de Segura joined the pilot project for the adaptation of State Transparency Portal (transparencia.gob.es) to local authorities and other public bodies and institutions.
Law 19/2013, of December 9, Transparency, Access to Public Information and Good Governance, aims to expand and strengthen transparency in public, regular activity and guarantee the right of access to information relating to that activity and establish good governance obligations to be met by public officials.

In a second phase, scheduled for September, municipalities may wish to accede to the use of the platform, signing this agreement with the Ministry and the FEMP.
The final opening of transparency portals, customized for each institution, the last quarter of this year would take place.
With this new project is to standardize the transparency information published by all administrations, and easy search and accessibility for citizens.
