The City of Molina de Segura settles the Municipal Budget 2013 with a surplus of 9,280,394 euros and leaves the Plan Adjustment (20/02/2015)

The City of Molina de Segura has announced the settlement data of the Municipal Budget 2014 and the fate of the remaining positive.

The presentation took place at a press conference on Friday February 20, by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor of Finance, Sonia Carrillo Marble.

The liquidation of the Municipal Budget 2014 registered a surplus of 8,620,594.47 euros.

Of this amount, the City has a positive cash remaining for general expenses 5,197,833.24 euros.

As recorded by the regulations of the Ministry of Finance, the session must allocate a portion of this surplus, amounting to € 2,197,833.24 to Amortization of Long-Term Debt 2015, while the rest of the remnant, € 3,000,000, Iran Financially Sustainable Investments for 2015.

Eduardo Contreras announced that "these three million, € 1 million will be distributed through participatory budgeting process, while others decide € 2,000,000 the government team".

That million euros adds to € 1.5 million already provided in the Municipal General Budget 2015, so the mayor stressed that "this year the citizenship of Molina de Segura decide which investments are allocated € 2.5 million a total of € 5.4 million the departure of municipal investments (corresponding to € 2.4 million included in the budgets, plus € 3,000,000 obtained positive remaining) ".
