IU-Green Molina de Segura today denounced the rejection of PP municipality to a motion filed by the formation of the left to the last plenary in support of hepatitis C.
Antonio Lopez, spokesman for the coalition at City Hall, has said he does not understand how the PP has voted against this motion "that all he wanted was to ask the National Government the implementation of urgent action to save the life many people who depend on the decision of the Government of Mariano Rajoy. "
The motion also requested that the government take measures regarding manufacturing and drug patents for the lives of people affected is not dependent on the pharmaceutical companies that market the drug, and "whose primary, if not sole objective is to win money over many times the life of the people ".
"I do not understand as a treatment for a person suffering from hepatitis C can cost between fifty and one hundred thousand euros, and especially the least understand, is that drug prices the mark pharmaceutical and that the Government has nothing to say about it. "
Lopez has criticized the fact that in Spain "were allocated many millions of euros to rescue failing banks and highways, airports and pay no planes, and no money to save lives."
In his view, "it is sad to see that the municipal government voted against a motion like this simply because it is the PP government in Spain to which you are asked to take measures to save the lives of these sick people hepatitis C ".
