IU-Greens in the city of Molina de Segura has filed a motion in Parliament next Monday for the municipal corporation to join the recognition of the International Day of Secularism and Freedom of Conscience, in recognition of the plurality of citizenship.
The initiative, training also emphasizes the need to move towards the separation of church and state "in a context of respect within a modern and civilized society".
In this regard, the spokesman for IU-Greens in the city, Antonio López, denounced the motion "religious intransigence in countries oppressed by religious fanaticism."
