Children can come into contact with the equipment used by firefighters, throwing water up to their trucks
The general director of Emergency and Public Safety, Luis Gestoso, announced today that the firehouse Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue Region of Murcia (CEIS) in Molina de Segura is open to children's views on Sunday, December 14 in an open house that has been given the name of 'Private Illusions' and where the only requirement to attend is to deliver to the park entrance, some non-perishable food which will then be delivered to the neediest.
The presentation of this campaign, Luis Gestoso emphasized the "generous character of firefighters, who are the architects of this initiative," and stressed that the CEIS "is a pleasure to organize a day like this that will be remembered for all those children who participate and, even more satisfying to know that in exchange for that illusion, other children receive food they need. "
Visits are made in groups and will be guided by a firefighter-monitor to accompany them for the facilities and will explain the activities that have been prepared to participate.
In them, children can experience firsthand the work of the firefighter, dress up your computer, launch water hoses, climb onto trucks and take a souvenir of this visit.
Foods that are collected will go to associations and groups that work with disadvantaged children.
To attend you must organize a group and enroll.
