The act of official reception by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the 15 Saharawi children participating in the peace Vacations program, sponsored by the Friends of the Saharawi people, took place today Monday, July 7, in the Plenary Hall of the City of Molina de Segura.
They were accompanied on the spot the Councillor for Social Welfare, Lola Vicente Quiles, and the President of the Association of Friends of the Saharawi people in Molina de Segura, Francisco Matias Garcia, and other members of the Municipal Corporation.
Each year, Sahrawi children from the refugee camps of Tindouf, spend the summer molinenses welcomed by families.
The children, like the rest of the welcome in the Region of Murcia, San Javier arrived at the airport last Thursday, July 3.
Twelve of the fifteen children temporarily admitted to Molina de Segura repeated experience, and who have participated in previous editions of this program.
Nine of them repeated the same family and the remaining three to reside with other families last year.
The age of the children is between 9 and 12 years.
