The councilors of the municipal group of IU-Greens in Molina de Segura unfurled a banner during the Republican debate on a motion of the left formation on the call for a referendum between monarchy and republic that was debated in Parliament in June.
The deputies Francisco Vicente López and Antonio Vidal placed the flag in front of his bed and showed another small shows, also Republican, at his table, who were present at the reading of the agreements.
López Vidal commented at the end of the session that "it is necessary to give visibility" to the motion, which argued that the public choose the model of government, adding that such demonstrations "and with the help of continued disparagement of the crown "are growing demands for a republic.
He has also insisted that the republic "is a principle of equality in which people are not nationals but citizens".
