Consolation Infant School has created a school garden, where children can plant, water and harvest different types of foods (tomatoes, peppers, carrots, etc.).
With this initiative, the center aims quelos students are in contact with the garden and its traditions, while aware of and identify this process (Plant-Water-Collecting) and can really know where they come from foods commonly consumed.
The school garden has been launched with the help of students in the program socio-labor integration of the Department of Social Welfare, employment program for disabled people who have collaborated in the creation of this little garden.
The presentation of the project, which took place on Tuesday, May 27, students in the program were present, along with the direction of the nursery, the Councillor for Social Welfare, Lola Vicente Quiles, and the Councillor for Education, Reme Lopez Paredes.
