The CXVI popular science conference organized by the Medical Research Foundation of Molina de Segura (WEF) will take place on Thursday, March 13, at 19.30 pm in the auditorium of the College of Education Paseo Rosales, with free admission under the title of The Origin of the disease, by Dr. Maria Blasco Marhuenda, specializing in scientific telomeres and telomerase, and Director of the National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO).
The conference is organized by the WEF, the city of Molina de Segura, Murcia University and the Hospital de Molina, sponsored by the Caixa.
María Blasco Marhuenda (Alicante, 1965) is a National Research Award Santiago Ramón y Cajal, Lilly Foundation Biomedical Research Award, First Prize Jaime Research, Gold Medal of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and Josef Steiner Research Award Cancer.
