Antonio Gomaríz, PSOE Municipal spokesman at City Hall, has addressed the Mayor to the Board of Spokesmen address the closure of cinemas in Molina de Segura, which took place in early November, leaving our town of about 70,000 inhabitants without this cultural activity open to the public.
Antonio asks Gomaríz know in depth the problem, the situation of workers and consider alternatives to save the film in Molina de Segura, an activity rooted in our cultural landscape, in which formulas fit than purely commercial order to have a room open to film lovers and the general public in our city and in the Vega Media.
The now closed to the public rooms are part of a shopping center located in what was municipal land which was swapped for another in the Chorrico Avenue (where the theater) to the location of it.
This rejection had the PSOE Municipal Group, which has claimed the draft local development, cultural and original urban public initiative as a long-range, job creation, identity of our city against the loss of jobs, trade and services representing the city-bedroom model, while the location of the mall should have been done on private land, acquiring in the market.
