The Department of Culture of the Municipality of Molina de Segura, through Township Library Network, International Day of the Library on Thursday 24 and Friday October 25, with the organization of various activities.
The International Day of the Library is an initiative arising from the Spanish Association of Friends of Children and Youth in 1997.
With the celebration of this day is to disseminate the social, cultural and educational library services.
The Library Network Molina de Segura celebrates it with the following activities in the Library Salvador García Aguilar (in Chorrico Avenue, No. 44):
Thursday, 24 October, at 18.00, under the name One afternoon in the library, the raffle and prize bounty Contest character is sought.
Among the backers of the various categories, raffle tickets for the Teatro Villa de Molina: adults, 2 tickets for the Saturday session Casting October 26, hunting of Bernarda Alba, er music, and children and youth tickets The Jungle Book, on Saturday November 23.
Then the Intergenerational Activities Workshop Senior Center of Molina de Segura held the representation of two sketch comedy, Cheers and The Dance of the Moon, the storyteller The paper man, and a recital of poems by Gloria Strong.
Thursday 24 and Friday 25 October, all day, will install a solidarity of books, 1 book = 1 non-perishable food.
Texts that have been donated over time by different users to libraries molinenses, and that they already have, put now available to this cause benefic.
Those interested in helping out, and be able to choose a book in exchange for leaving a nonperishable food.
All the food collected will go to Caritas Interparroquial of Molina de Segura.
