The course Do we care for our children?, Aimed at parents of Molina de Segura, and promoted by the City molinense Pediatric Society and the Southeast of Spain, celebrates his penultimate session, dedicated to poisoning in children, the Monday, April 8, from 18.00 to 19.30, in the Centro Las Balsas (Calle Cartagena, near the Plaza of the taps).
The talk will be given by Dr. Jose Rodriguez Garcia, Consultant Paediatrician University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca of Murcia, which will detail what to do and what not to do when a child comes into contact with a poison (drug, pesticide, carbon monoxide carbon, petroleum, etc..).
The course, a pioneer in the Region of Murcia, is celebrated from October 2012 until May 2013, and is coordinated by the President of the Pediatric Society of Southeast Spain, Dr. Jesus Rodriguez Caamano, Chief of Emergency Pediatrics, University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.
From City of Molina de Segura, this initiative is coordinated by the departments of Health and Education.
The purpose of the course is to guide, assist and train parents to resolve problems that may have a child in their evolution.
This includes many facets, such as adequate food, toxic household problems, domestic accidents, poisoning, bites, vaccinations, colic, sleep problems, problems related to new families, separation of parents, etc..
All participants will receive a course completion a diploma and during its meetings there is a conciliation service for child care for parents who need it.
The next and final event will take place on Monday, May 6.
