The Municipal Group of Socialist Party claims that Contreras has given the green light to the installation of another station in the developments, this time in The Alcayna.
Within months of opening the gas station Altorreal controversy, the City allows the placement of another gas station not far from it, in The Alcayna, giving its approval to the plan submitted by the company especially Nez Renta SL (BORM October 1 2012).
Antonio Gomariz, PSOE Municipal spokesman, claims that with this new action over gas stations Contreras argues that the residents of La Alcayna and branded as absurd and unfair to the neighbors this craze unleashed install gas stations in the area and within walking distance of each other .
"Contreras is as Rajoy: is dedicated to making things hidden from the neighbors and then tells them they do not like them," he insists Gomariz.
The Socialist Municipal Group is resolutely opposed to the installation of this gas station in La Alcayna and requests the Corporation to vote together in Parliament on Monday to demand Contreras to halt the gas station, because unlike with Altorreal gas station, in this case law permits dismissal of the Special Plan and authorize the installation of the service station in a residential area.
There is no reason to allow this new station, which goes against the general interests, placed above the economic benefit of health and does not meet local demand or need or social, as several serving stations nearby, including Altorreal controversy.
