The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, has filed a motion for consideration by the full special molinense Corporation to be held on Wednesday 25 July at 0900 hours, which proposes to delete the bonus of the month December 2012 to members of the municipal corporation or part-time and reduce the other councilors the maximum monthly amount of payments received or commissions charged for attendance at briefings, special committees, group meetings, plenary municipal Local Government or any other municipal body, a 7.14% per month from July to December 2012, both months included.
The full text of the motion is as follows:
MOTION
Royal Decree-Law 20/2012 of 14 July on measures to ensure fiscal stability and to promote competitiveness, attacks, given the nature of the crisis in which we incur, a series of reforms whose need is extraordinary and so urgent that it can comply with the commitments made by Spain in public spending and deficits.
One of the measures taken by this Royal Decree-Law has been the suppression during the year 2012 bonus in December for public employees and is appropriate for the salaries of elected officials being affected in the same way.
Among them are some who perceive wage or part-time in fourteen annual payments, so you should pay extra deleted December.
As for those who receive their assignment as fees for attendance at meetings of corporate bodies, no extra payments therefore, should see their income reduced by a similar amount, ie 7.14%.
In light of the foregoing, I propose the adoption of the following
AGREEMENT
First. - Delete the bonus in December 2012 to members of the municipal corporation or part-time.
Second. - Reduce the rest of Aldermen the maximum monthly amount of payments received or commissions charged for attendance at briefings, special committees, group meetings, plenary municipal Local Government or any other municipal body, to 7.14% month from July 2012 to December 2012, both months included.
