The closing ceremony and awarding of diplomas to students shoemaking course organized by the Department of Social Welfare of the City of Molina de Segura, through the Center for Social Services and from the Program for Prevention and Social Integration has taken place today Wednesday 11 July, in the auditorium of the Centro Integral Ceramics.
Attended by the Deputy Mayor, Worship Molina Lopez, the Director General of Social Affairs and Immigration Equality, Leopoldo Navarro Quílez, Councillor for Social Welfare, Lola Vicente Quiles, the President of the Abraham Project, Rafael Sanchez Portell, and Secretary of the Association Project Abraham, Maria Jose Chumillas.
The course has been developed in collaboration with the Abraham Project, which aims at the socio / employment, training and social care of people in difficulties for social inclusion.
Was launched to determine the characteristics, development and utilization of parts and materials of the shoe.
The course content were: technical treaty and shoe care, management and maintenance of tools, machinery and adhesive materials, etc., And repair and replacement of various pieces: tops, heels, insoles, spikes, zippers, wedges, etc.
The activity was aimed at people over 18 years, Monday through Friday during the month of June.
Its scope included the town of Molina de Segura and was located at the Center for Adult Education.
The course began with a total of 15 persons, selected by a technical team composed of educators and social workers of this council, prioritizing their participation according to technical criteria established by these professionals.
