The Department of Social Welfare of the City of Molina de Segura, through the Center for Social Services and from the Program for Prevention and Social Inclusion, has launched a training activity: shoemaking course.
The course is conducted in collaboration with the Abraham Project, which aims at the socio / employment, training and social care of people in difficulties for social inclusion.
Starts to know the characteristics, development and utilization of parts and materials of the shoe.
Course contents include:
Techniques tried and shoe care.
Management and maintenance of tools, machinery and adhesive materials, etc.
Repair and replacement of various pieces: tops, heels, insoles, spikes, zippers, wedges, etc..
The activity is aimed at people over 18 years in time from 09.30 to 11.30 hours, Monday through Friday during the month of June 2012.
Its scope covers the town of Molina de Segura and will be located in the Adult Education Center, located at Calle Juan de Austria.
The course began on June 4, with a total of 15 persons, selected by a technical team composed of educators and social workers of this council, prioritizing their participation according to technical criteria established by these professionals.
