Molina Hospital welcomes you to its facilities throughout the morning of Friday February 3, an information desk of the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer Molina de Segura celebrate on Saturday February 4 the Day Against Cancer.
From 9:00 until 14:00 pm, volunteers from the AECC, along with staff of the Hospital de Molina, provide information to citizens about healthy habits to prevent cancer.
Molina Hospital works closely with the local board of the AECC, with which, in the words of Managing Director of the Hospital, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, "collaborate in those activities that can be useful for preventing the disclosure of of these diseases, such as tables or other information where we convene. "
In cancer prevention, Diagnostic Imaging Service of Hospital de Molina performs mammograms and breast ultrasound to the population likely to suffer from this disease, and recommends the test performing for the prevention of gastrointestinal malignancies.
Pedro Hernandez recalls that "these tests are conducted by our Internal Medicine and Digestive Endoscopy."
