Last July 2011, workers of the municipal utility company took the initiative SERCOM solidarity with those affected by the earthquake in Lorca.

The total amount collected is of 1,765 euros, money that has been entered, on Tuesday January 24 in a checking account enabled by the city of Lorca, with whom he has coordinated since SERCOM this initiative, to cater mainly to the most directly affected by the earthquake.
Mayor Molina de Segura, President of the municipal company, Eduardo Contreras Linares, expressed his "thanks to the initiative of the workers of the company, which demonstrates the quality of a collective human sensitive to situations like the one experienced by the municipality of Lorca ".
