The presentation of the sculpture INHABITED MIND, made and donated by artist Pepe Yagües to the Association of Families and Persons with Mental Illness Molina (AFESMO), will take place today Monday October 10th at 20:30 pm in AFESMO new headquarters (in Miñano Gregory Street, No. 52, Molina de Segura).
The event was attended by Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, President of AFESMO, Delia Topham Reguera, and the artist himself.
Mind rooms are located on the side of the new association AFESMO center, the place chosen by the artist himself, who visited the center last April to know the people who worked there and find the inspiration for the work.
A few days later, the artist sent a sketch of the actual sculpture, which he has undertaken to install.
In addition to the sculpture, the artist has given the center a series of vinyl with his works, to be placed in the windows of the center, both above and below.
The new center serves AFESMO, daily, 110 people with mental illness and has 33 sheltered housing places.
Serves, among others, transportation, dining, occupational workshops, psycho / social, occupational status, emotional therapy, etc.
