The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, has received in the Plenary Hall of the City, on Tuesday October 4, the local police officers who have achieved molinense medal in the Police and Fire Olympics held and the Spain XIV Championship MTB local police.

A reception was also attended by the Councillor for Local Police, Fortunato Arias City Councillor for Staff, Juana Carrillo Muñoz, and the Deputy Local Police Chief Jose Perez Almagro.

The two local police officers who have earned medals in the Police and Fire Olympics in New York City, are Rice Iñaki Sánchez, bronze medal in road cycling criterium mode, and Juan Jose Montalban Gray, silver medal Basketball 3 x 3.

For its part, the local police Pablo Fernandez Vidal has claimed runner-up Spain in Spain XIV Championship MTB local police, held last weekend in Motril (Granada).

Furthermore, the classification by Headquarters, the Local Police team molinense has achieved a bronze medal.

The members of this team are: Pablo Fernandez Vidal, Iñaki Urroz Sanchez, Francisco Hernandez Antolino, Juan David Verdugo Gonzalez, Jesus Molina Lopez, Francisco Valera Espin, Oliva Juan Antonio Ortiz, Antonio Cascales González, Bernardino Imperial Rodriguez, Jose Gines Riquelme Tormos, and Juan Garcia Salar.
