The local police has established a monitoring device for the sale of alcohol to minors, which fits into the system set up during the festivity of Molina de Segura.
Local Police Molina de Segura reported during the early hours of last Friday 9, two establishments in the downtown area for selling alcohol to minors, according to sources with the local police of the municipality.
The incident occurred when a local police patrol that was on duty, found and acquired several children various bottles of alcohol on the premises of that area.
These allegations, according to police sources, will be forwarded to the Department of Health, responsible for sanctioning these facilities for an amount between 1202 and 12,000 euros.
In this sense, the councilor in charge of the area, Maria Dolores Vicente Quiles, commented that the amount of the penalty will depend on various circumstances, strength of the drink dispensed, the lower age of acquisition, local recurrence in the sale of alcohol , etc ... The mayor also wanted to remind that the establishments have ten days to appeal the sanction.
For his part, Councillor for Citizen Security of the City of Molina de Segura, Arias Fortunato City, wanted to highlight "the great work done by agents during the feast" and welcomed the cooperation of all residents with the Security Forces .
