The act of taking possession of the new Municipal Corporation of the City of Molina de Segura held today Saturday, June 11, 2011, at 11:00 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina.
The twenty-five councilors who were elected in the municipal elections have vowed or pledged his office, and later in the election of Mayor, was re-elected Eduardo Contreras Linares, head of the Popular Party list, facing his fifth consecutive term as Mayor of the municipality.
Eduardo Contreras, and elected Mayor delivered an inaugural address in which he offered his collaboration with local groups that, together, moving forward the project of city that people want.
He appealed to the important challenge of citizen participation in political life, which will be a crucial factor in this term.
On the other hand, appealed to the political responsibility for such important aspects as the adequacy of the district councils.
