The Department of Environment of the City of Molina de Segura, and developing an ongoing program of communication on the separate collection, carried out the issue through local television Thader TV, three spots with which it is intended raise awareness about the importance of recycling and participation in the collection.
This program is funded by Ecoembes communication, based on the collaboration agreement with the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the town of Molina de Segura.
The ads consist of a common first part, which invites reflection on the environmental impact posed by waste and important civic contribution to reducing this impact, through collaboration in the collection, and a second part, different in each of the three spots, with information specific to deposit waste in the yellow light packaging in paper and cardboard blue and green igloos for glass containers.
The Councillor for the Environment, Consuelo Rosauro Meseguer, highlighted "the role of citizens in the collection to enable recycling, and the need to encourage a change in habits and behaviors necessary to reduce the impact of waste the environment. For this it is necessary that the City perform a continuous work and educational information provided to the public participation in municipal waste management, through the separation in the home and proper storage containers road.
Other communicative actions performed on the collection are the environmental education activities aimed at citizens' associations, which aimed to raise awareness and facilitate communication and participation, have the opportunity to members to raise their questions, concerns or suggestions on the collection and has them involved as transmitters of information and public awareness about non-members.
