The Alquibla Theatre (Murcia) introduced the comedy THE QUEENS OF ORINOCO on Friday 3 December at 21.00 am in Conference Room Two of the Teatro Villa de Molina (Chorrico Avenue, No. 10).
The ticket price is 9 euros.
Thirteen years after its premiere, Teatro Alquibla travel back to Mina and Fifi drift in Las Reinas del Orinoco, the Mexican Emilio Carballido, spectacle with which the company achieved outstanding results in public and critics.
It is a bitter comedy, and like to call its director, Antonio Saura, from Beckettian vision.
It is the story of a journey through the Orinoco.
The trip, in a derelict, two stars of the third row: Mina and Fifi Fifi and Mina.
The drifting journey of so many men, but especially so many women, as a metaphor for life understood as a river, as a trip such as navigation.
Mina and Fifi are alone, but they have each other.
They are friends and that's plenty.
Others are worse.
And time goes by.
And while they sing, dance and rehearse because they want to be real stars of the picture dedicated.
Las Reinas del Orinoco is also a musical comedy, with humor as a trigger, a bolero rhythm.
A show filled with love, humor and tenderness.
According to the director explains, "thirteen years ago we opened Orinoco Carballido and nothing has changed. We've aged a little, and Emily is no longer with us, but we are back where we were, wondering, searching and struggling, and so on. There are moments of crisis (economic and artistic), in which one needs meet again to himself while walking on the other hand, to help you share the bad times. "
"It's time to reconnect with my two actresses ever: Hope and Lola, Lola and Hope. The three have been together for a lifetime. After the conclusion of the twenty-five years of Alquibla Theatre in 2009, played a tribute to these two "adds Saura.
