The act of public recognition and delivery of the Diploma of the City Distinguished Service to the Hospital de Molina was held on Tuesday 16 November, in the Meeting Room of City Hall.

Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the Minister of Health of the Region of Murcia, María Ángeles Palacios Sánchez, CEO of the Hospital de Molina, Domingo Menchón Martínez, Managing Director of the Hospital de Molina, Francisco Guirado Sánchez, and the Councillor for Health, Lola Vicente Quiles.

One reason for this act of recognition is given to the Hospital of the distinction.

But it also implies a recognition of the Hospital de Molina for the achievement of a new Top 20 Award for being the first organization in the region of Murcia in receiving 400 + European Excellence Seal in March 2010, which marks the tenth anniversary of the inauguration of this hospital, ten years of service to healthcare in the municipality and the region.
