The first course of scientific and medical information about human biology, health and health habits, promoted by the Medical Research Foundation Molina de Segura (FEM), in collaboration with the town of Molina de Segura, Murcia University and Hospital Molina, sponsored by the Caixa, will be conducted from October 19, 2010 to March 8, 2011 (every Tuesday of each week, from 18.00 to 20.30) in the auditorium of the College of Education Child Paseo Rosales .
The course has been presented at a press conference today, Wednesday, October 13, 2010, in the Press Room of the City of Molina de Segura, by Eduardo Contreras Linares, Honorary Chairman of the CEO and Mayor of the town, José Antonio Lozano Teruel, Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, President of the FEM and Coordinator of the course, and Josefina García Lozano, Secretary of the EMF and the course.
May attend a maximum of 100 students and tuition is free.
The University of Murcia was given 4 credits to the course of the EMF.
In total, 36 subjects will be addressed, taught by professors and lecturers of the University of Murcia, and grouped into the following clusters: Where we are Where we come from, how it works Frontiers of health and illness, and Individuals and Society.
Following the conclusion of each speech, the scripts for each are available to students.
Furthermore, to claim the final diploma of achievement awarded by the FEM and the University of Murcia, students enrolled must establish a minimum attendance of 75% of the planned activities.
