The deadline for applications for places on courses and workshops of the Department of Culture of Molina de Segura for the 2010/2011 academic year starts on Wednesday September 22 and ends on Friday 24 September, as reported by the Councillor for Culture, Mariola Martinez Robles.
The courses and workshops will be conducted in neighborhoods and districts of the municipality, in addition to downtown, following the decentralization of recent years.
Applications may be formalized in the Garden Center (on Calle Professor Joaquín Abellán, No. 8) at the following times: Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 September, from 09.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00 pm and Friday 24 September from 09.00 to 14.00.
In total, the Culture Department offers 34 courses and workshops, which will be held at the following locations: CS Barrio Fátima, Garden Center, Centro Las Balsas Torrealta CS, CS La Ribera, CS El Llano, and CS B ° del Carmen .
14 specialties are taught, for over 16 years: Computers, Furniture Restoration, Photography, Painting and Drawing, Yoga, Tai Chi, Weaving, Arts and Decoration, bobbin lace, Dressmaking and Embroidery Traditional Ballroom, Rhythm Latinos, Bollywood Dancing and Pilates.
The academic year is divided into two courses: the first from October 11, 2010 until February 4, 2011, and the second from February 14 until June 3, 2011.
The courses and workshops that have higher demand than seats available, two letters will be drawn for each workshop, to establish an alphabetical list final.
The draw, which will be public, be made to the Secretary of the Department of Culture and Celebration, the 27th of September at 10.00 h.

The first enrollment period starts on Wednesday September 29 and concludes on Tuesday, 5 October, from 09.30 to 13.40 pm in the Garden Center.
The second registration period will take place from 24 to 28 January 2011, for renewals of those already enrolled in the first period, and 10 to February 11 for new applications.
For the academic year 2010/2011, the public price of tuition is 150 Euros for courses and workshops annually.
Payment will be made in two installments: 75 euros in the first period of registration, and 75 euros in the second period of registration.
Also may make a single payment of 150 euros (2 semesters) in the first period of registration.
Bonuses have been set 15% for large families in general category and 30% for special category and 50% for over 65 years and unemployed.
Registration will not be finalized until it has given proof of payment.

These courses are presented as specific training areas and long-term, allowing students to gain extensive knowledge about the various subjects offered.
Also, enrollment is limited, to promote the dynamics of the course, with better attention to the participants by the faculty.
These courses are taught by specialists from different subjects, which are provided by the Association AMCultural through a service contract with the city of Molina de Segura.
