The closing ceremony and delivery of diplomas to the students of the Basic Competences for Employment Course, promoted by the Department of Social Welfare of the Molina de Segura City Council, within the Accompaniment Program for Social Inclusion, took place today. Wednesday, April 25, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council.
The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángel Navarro García, attended.
The course, aimed at 15 people in situations of social vulnerability and low level of employability, was held from February 6 to April 20, in 40 sessions, at the Las Balsas Center.
The objectives of the course were: to develop basic social skills for coping with the search for employment, to facilitate openness to the management of new technologies in daily life and job search, and to promote training and work orientation from the possibilities of each person, with individual work-training itineraries.
It was aimed at people aged between 25 and 45 years, registered in the municipality, attended by the Department of Social Welfare and selected by their reference professionals, who maintain an attitude of job search, and that, for reasons specific to the labor market and / or intrinsic difficulties to participants, remain in a situation of low employment expectation.
This training course is accredited and involves a scholarship for assistance.
It is financed by the Molina de Segura City Council, with a total cost of 7,200 euros, and has been provided by REPAIN-Networks for Insertion.
