The Procession of Resurrection Sunday, organized by the Illustrious, Venerable and Antiquisima Archconfraternity of Mary Most Holy of the Rosary and of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, is celebrated on Sunday, April 1, from 09.00.
The images that participate in the procession are: Arcángel San Miguel, by Ramón Marco Santo;
Triumphant Cross, Risen Christ, Appearance of Jesus to Mary Magdalene, and Saint John the Evangelist, all of them by Vázquez Juncal;
and Maria Santísima de la Victoria, by Clemente Cantos.
Around 10.00 hours takes place in Plaza Pío XII, the emotional Encounter of the Risen Christ and Mary Most Holy of Victory.
The Confraternity of the Resurrection is based in the parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and is composed of more than 400 Nazarenes who wear white robes and headdresses of different colors according to the Brotherhood to which they belong.
The procession on Sunday has the seven children of the parishes who will parade with dalmatics similar to those of Saint Vincent Martyr, patron saint of the city, and to those who are popularly known as sanvicentiquios.
The procession will depart from the Headquarters of the Brotherhood, in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The Risen Christ will travel along Calle Saavedra Fajardo and Gran Vía, until reaching Plaza Pío XII, where the Encuentro will take place.
To this square will arrive the image of Maria Santísima de la Victoria, who will have arrived on Calle Juan de Austria.
Both images will continue the parade through Calle Calvario, Calle Nueva, Calle Mayor, Calle Cultura, Paseo Rosales, Calle Estación, Menéndez Pelayo Street, Gran Vía, Calle San Esteban, to finish again in the Church of the Sacred Heart.
With this parade concludes the Holy Week of Molina de Segura.
