The XVI Meeting of Women of Molina de Segura, organized by the Council of Equality of the Molinense City Council, in the development of the IV Plan of Equality of Opportunities and in commemoration of March 8, United Nations Day for the Rights of Women and La Paz Internacional, takes place today, Thursday, March 8, from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the Jardín del Huerto Fayrén (Barrio de San Roque).
This year there will be 300 women associated with the women's centers in the town, who collaborate in the organization of the event.
The program of activities is as follows:
12.00 h .: reception of the associations with musical entertainment.
13.00 h .: greetings from the Mayor and the Councilor for Equality, and reading of the local manifesto on the occasion of March 8.
2:00 pm: Lunch enlivened.
4:00 pm: musical performance and dance.
6:00 pm: farewell and end of the meeting.
The Councilor for Equality, Rocío Balsalobre Sánchez, considers "important the visualization of associationism in Molina de Segura".
