The fifth edition of the Urban Art Action Contest AD FESTIVAL of Molina de Segura, held from 20 to 22 September, already has winners.
It is the ME & WHEEL STREET show, by the artist María Cavagnero (Argentina), in the category of street theater, and the show BETÚN, by the company Teatro Strappato (Murcia), in the theater category.
The jury met the same Friday, September 22, after the last of the representations of the companies that participated in the contest.
Both shows will feature their participation in the official section of the next Molina de Segura International Theater Festival in 2018. In addition, the jury has also decided to award the ME & WHEEL STREET show with its participation in 2018 in:
Ibero-American Theater Festival of Cadiz (FIT).
International Festival of Street Theater (FIT Al Carrer), Vila Real.
Fair of Scenic Arts of Castilla La Mancha (Albacete).
Summer schedule of La Roda (Albacete).
Finally, the jury has awarded a SPECIAL MENTION to the show REFORMING PARTY, the company Local Mode (Murcia), for its innovative and preformative.
The jury was composed of representatives of each of the entities offering the prizes, and the Director of the Villa de Molina Theater and the Theater Festival of the town, José Antonio Avilés Moreno, acted as President of the jury.
