On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Council of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura organized the Free and Present Free Guided Tour of Molina de Segura, which will take place on Wednesday, 27 September, at 11.00 departure from Plaza de España.
The celebration of this day aims to sensitize the international community about the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value.
Peace and dialogue, accessibility and world heritage have been some of the issues addressed in previous editions.
This year's motto is Sustainable tourism as a development tool.
The visit is aimed at a group of 2nd grade students from IES Vega del Táder and will visit the most important tourist resources of the municipality.
It will leave the Plaza de España, located in the Park of the Company, where you will visit its Ferris wheel.
Then, you will visit the Plaza de la Molinera and the Plaza del MUDEM, which house two important chimneys, a souvenir of the Moldovan canning industry.
You will also visit the remains of the Alcazaba that are located in the upper part of the Castle Quarter.
Next, a visit to the Museum of the Oven of the Council will be concluded and the tour will be concluded at the Los Lostigos Center, inside which a section of the medieval wall of the city and the Tourist Office will be preserved.
