The presentation of the book The historic Círculo de Bellas Artes de Murcia in Trapería street (1902-1938), by Pilar Valero, will take place on May 8, at 8:00 p.m., in the Virginia Martínez Fernández Auditorium (at MUDEM) , Within the program of the Spring of the 2017 Book of Molina de Segura, organized by the Department of Culture of the town hall.
During the presentation, Pilar Valero will play the piano Rondeña and Triana, by Isaac Albéniez, and Dance of the fire, by Manuel de Falla;

In this book he rescues from oblivion one of the most emblematic institutions in the history of Murcia, the Círculo de Bellas Artes, on which weighs an incomprehensible silence.
Created in 1902 by a group of intellectuals and musicians and disappeared in the Civil War, for over thirty years it was a major cultural focus in multiple disciplines such as music, fine arts and ballet, emerging from it, among other prestigious artists , The sculptor José Planes and the painter Joaquin Garcia.
